After successfully becoming a certified community partner of Minneapolis Public Schools, Camden High School in North Minneapolis has taken a significant step forward by being the first school to incorporate the innovative program known as BIG Talks into its athletic framework. BIG Talks is designed to provide vital support and resources to the student-athletes who participate in the morning workout sessions, which are expertly led by the dedicated coach Dolo Harris. Coach Dolo has been at the helm of this athletic initiative since the summer, working tirelessly to foster not only physical fitness but also the overall well-being of his athletes. Recognizing the potential benefits that BIG Talks could bring to his team, Coach Dolo proactively reached out to the leadership at Camden High School, presenting a compelling case for the integration of this program. His initiative has culminated in a collaborative effort that aims to enhance the training experience for the athletes, ensuring they receive not just physical training but also the mental and emotional support necessary for their development both on and off the field. This partnership marks a pivotal moment for Camden High School, as it embraces a holistic approach to athlete development, paving the way for future collaborations and innovations in the realm of student athletics.
